Julia Matilda Quinn daughter of Charles and Gwendolyn Sealy was born June 12, 1935.
After graduating High School at the age of 17 she met and married Kilby J. Quinn and bore 5 children; Kilby Jr., Janice, Gwendolyn, Charles and Ronda.
After graduating school, Julia worked for the NYS Post office. After starting a family she decided to stay at home to raise her children. She lived in South Jamaica for well over 60 years and never had a desire to leave the neighborhood she loved so dearly. For it was filled with so many family and friends.
She was reintroduced to Jesus Christ and became a devoted Jehovah’s Witness until illness prevented her from attending her services.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Gwen and Ronda, son Charles, Son-in-law Lawrence, several grand- children Frank, Marcus, Lawrence, Dwayne, Renisha, Xavier, and great grand- children Marcus Jr, Zania, Tariq and her new addition, Amari. She is also survived by her
