The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eugene Bennett can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I have had the pleasure of knowing Gene since 2000. The gleam in his eyes as he watched "his children" perform on the field will never be forgotten. Gene touched the lives of thousands of parents and students over the years, and all for the better.
I guess God needed the best drill designer to be with Him in heaven. RIP Gene. Thanks for all that you have done for the marching band community. Your light and love will shine on always.

Condolence: I've had the honor of working with Gene off and on for the past 35+ years. Not only was he a creative giant in the activity, but first and foremost he was an excellent and caring teacher who loved his craft, whether it be working with the most rudimentary and inexperienced children or technically sophisticated adults. He will be missed.

Condolence: Mr. Bennett's life and spirit will forever live in the hearts of all the children he helped find a voice through music. I will forever remember his kindness, determination and most of all his sence of humor. As I am now a teacher I strive to leave behind an influence like Mr. Bennett left on our hearts.
