Obituary for Elnora Shannon

Elnora  Shannon
Elnora Shannon was born on November 10, 1937 in Selma Alabama. She was the oldest child born to the late Samuel Shannon Sr. and Julia Bell Shannon.

Elnora graduated from Selma High School and continued her education by attending beauty school and getting her certificate and graduating.

Elnora later moved to New York and was a jack of all trades selling copperware, topperware part time and working at Leecraft Manufacturing where she was a faithful and dedicated employee until she retired.

Elnora was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church where she was actively involved in the spiritual growth in the church.

The good Lord called Elnora to be home as she was preceded in death by her brother Samuel, Jr. and Ella Mae. She passed away on Saturday, September 27 9:52 AM at the New York Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Elnora leaves behind to cherish her precious memory her son, Donnell, granddaughter, London, sisterin-law, Georgia, stepsons, Trent and William, stepdaughters, Roxanne, Cheryl and Tamika Morris, nieces, Jean, Gloria, Anna and Shakenna, nephews, Lemetrius, Jeff, James, Tremaine, Shaun and Darren, also a host of cousins-in-law and friends who loved her dearly.
