M r. George L. Brown, the son of late Mr. & Mrs. David and Annie Brown was born in Florence, South Carolina on November 11, 1932, and passed away on January 4, 2015.

He married the late Mary M. Johnson. To this union, four children were born, Regina Brown, Steven Brown, the late David Brown and Troy Brown.

George was a very devoted and loving father, working day and night to take care of his family. He is survived by three children: Mr. & Mrs. Steven and Alice Brown of Atlanta, Georgia, Regina Brown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Troy Brown of Queens, New York. He is also survived by three sisters: Mildred Brown of Florence, South Carolina, Edith Mae Bethea of Newport News, Virginia, Catherine Artis of Florence, South Carolina, and two brothers: Mr. & Mrs. Curtis and Loretta Brown of Florence, South Carolina and Mr. & Mrs. Jimmie and Betty J. Brown of Queens, NY. George Brown was also survived by grandson David Brown Jr. of New York, Devon Brown of Atlanta, Georgia, Stephen Brown of Atlanta, Georgia and two great grandsons and a host of other relatives and close friends.
