The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joanne Anderson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Opiaah I wanted to extend my condolence to you and your family during this time. I never met your mom but I remember you speaking of her many times while we attended Old Westbury together. I'm sorry she passed away and I hope you are surrounded with caring friends and family. Do not forget that the Lord is always present, He knows our weakness and frailty and will forgive us when we ask Him. Draw closer to Him especially now. Just as David says in Psalm 23: "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me..." Thinking of you, may God bless you and your family.
