Obituary for Yvette T. Epps

Yvette T. Epps
Yvette Tammy Epps was born June 9, 1963 to the late Annette Epps and Nathaniel Huntley. Yvette was born and raised in Harlem NY. God called her home on March 25, 2015.

Yvette was a loving, generous, hard-working, STRONG woman. She was full of life. She was a fighter; enduring all types of health battles throughout her life with very little complaints. She was truly blessed. Anyone who came into contact with her loved her. She was the definition of a true mother. She had so many children outside of her birth kids.

Yvette devoted her life to helping others, which complimented her occupation as a developmental Aide up until her retirement in January 2013.

Among those who will miss her are: her husband, Bernard Ward; children, Henry James, Shaunte James, Renee Epps, Kasheena Ward, and Fatima Epps; her grandchildren, Jahyrah Thompson, Malachi James, and Jahhard James; her godchildren, Jason Wright, Zina Wright, Onun St. Hilliare and Lanasia McMillan; siblings, Beatrice Rogers, Murphy Robinson, Artie Robinson and Murphine Robinson.

She also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and lifelong friends.
