Shelton Leon Little was born in Greenville, NC. He attended school at Pat Louis Elementary where he completed the 10th grade. He then moved to Paterson, NJ with his mother Jessie Lee Little Thompson. He started working at a young age as a blue collar worker. In 1963 he moved to New York on Francis Lewis Boulevard in Queens where he started working at Automatic Inc. as a car art Inspector. While working at the same job, he fell in love at first site with his soul mate, Mae Sue Barkers. They married and moved to Springfield Gardens in Queens NY. In 1980 he changed occupations and started working at a company called Ranger Tires in Lon Island, NY as a Tire Technician. He retired in 2005 and he and his wife moved to the Allen Senior Bldg. in Jamaica Queens, NY.
Shelton was always happy go lucky. He always had a big heart, willing to share whatever he had with any and everybody. He loved to watch wrestling, boxing, football, and basketball. He always kept good company around him and he was a very hard working provider for his family. He was a very much loved father and husband.
His son Shelton Little Jr. preceded him in death.
He left behind his mother Jessie Lee Thompson; wife Mae Sue Little; sons Jessie Ray Little, and Levi Little; daughters Cynthia Little; Minister Melody Little Hurt (Carlos), and Vanessa Little; sons Charles Little; Allen Troy Barkers (Jennifer); Demetrius Barkers (Tisha); Jeffrey Leon Lewis, and Dwayne Damion Lewis; (24) Grandchildren; (21) Great Grand Children, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends
