Geraldine A. Brown best known as “Debbie” was born November 3rd 1940 in Harlem, New York. She was the second child and only daughter out of 5 kids to the late Allen James Collins Sr. Adela Collins Johnson.

After a long illness she entered into external rest at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Queens.
“Debbie” as she was best known to family and friends and peppermint Grandma and Big Momma to her grandchildren.

“Debbie” moved to Queens where she attended Shimmer J.H.S. and graduated from John Adams High School. While in J.H.S. she met Morgan. T. Brown on June 28th 1958 they were joined in Holy Matrimony at Lutheran Baptist Church of Queens.

“Debbie” was an Eastern Star. She was an employed at Queens General Hospital as a Dietician soon after she went on to be a health care provider until her illness occurred in 1993.

Debbie was full of life and enjoyed every moment she spent with her family. Specially her grandkids. Debbie wasn’t one to mix her words she had no problem letting you know how she felt when it came to expressing her feelings.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Morgan T. Brown Sr., two sons Morgan Jr., Gregory, four daughters Sylvia “Niecy”, Cynthia “Bunny” Ailean “Babygirl”, Linda, one daughter in law Tracy Brown, one son in law Shannon Jiminez, one brother Eldred S. Johnson, two aunts Catherine Thompson and Rebecca Mathis of C.T. twenty-six grandkids, fourteen great grand kids, and her two children who proceeded her in death Edward “Eddie” Brown, Tracy “Tuffy” Brown a host of nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
And a special thanks to her care provider Thora “Nurse” Glasgow for the many years of caring for our beloved mother and grandmother.
