Obituary for Earline Ruth Love

Earline Ruth Love
Earline Ruth Goodwin was born in Englewood, New Jersey on Monday, March 16, 1931 to Frank Goodwin and Earline Hawkins, as the only daughter among six children. She received her formal education in the Englewood Public School District where she graduated.

Earline migrated to New York where she became enamored and united with Mathew Love. Together they raised six children. As a conscientious homemaker, she managed well. Earline was mindful to teach her children good manners and right from wrong. She was always very straightforward and truthful often citing the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." She not only nurtured her own, but also the children of others. Earline gave her heart to the Lord and always saw to it that her children attended church.

When her young ones became older, Earline obtained employment in Civil Service Custodial Care at Queens College, Queens N.Y. She also worked side by side with her husband Matthew in the Medical and Diagnostic Center in Queens, N.Y. in the employment of Dr. Joseph Sadigh. She later returned to homemaking and was blessed to join in the rearing of several of her grandchildren.

Earline was kind, and considerate and touched the lives of many. She completed her earthly journey on Friday, January 29, 2016. She leaves to cherish her memories six children, Muslim (Nancy) of Lindenwood, N.J., Michael (Charmaine) of Chesilhurst, N.J., Nina (Renard) of Wilkes Barres. PA., John (Sherry), Roseann and Geraldine of Queens, N.Y., one brother, Thomas (Denise) of Las Vegas, NV., 25 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends. Her loving husband Matthew, and four brothers, Frankie, Harold, Henry, and Richard preceded her in death.
