Mother Vivian A.  Lockett
On Tuesday, July 12, 2016, Vivian A. Lockett, a devoted Christian and Prayer Warrior, was called home to live eternally in the arms of her Lord and Saviour.

Vivian A. Lockett was born March 16, 1937 in Newport News, VA. She was the 2nd eldest child to the late Archie and Willow Mae Sinclair.

In 1957, Vivian Lockett moved to New York City. While in New York she attended and graduated from Nursing school.

In 1960, Vivian met George Lockett and they were united in marriage on July 22, 1961.

Vivian Lockett worked in the New York State Mental facilities as a Health Care Attendant and retired in 2005 after 17 years of service.

Mother Vivian Lockett accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour at an early age and for over 20 years was a faithful member of the Burns Memorial Church of God and held many roles under the leadership of Pastor Thomas E. Burns.

Vivian was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She touched many lives and leaves to cherish her memory 3 children, Thaddues Sinclair, Juanita Lockett & Cynthia Lockett; 1 daughter in law, Deborah Sinclair; 13 Grandchildren (Thaddeus, Tavoris, Shakim, Shawntia, Monchelle, Dominique, Gelisa, Williemae, & Jasmine); 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and Church family.

Vivian Lockett will never be forgotten but forever in our hearts
