Henry was born November 15 1945 in Queens New York to Warren Smith and Arelia Brown. Henry attended Woodrow Wilson Vocational High School and earned a diploma in his lifelong passion of Carpentry and Wood Working in 1964. After high school Henry worked as a carpenter and perfected his skills before becoming the sole proprietor of Esbro Construction Incorporated, a Carpentry and home remodeling business that lasted for over twenty years. His children remember him as a creative person who designed and built furniture as a hobby and stressed the importance of hard work in achieving goals.
