Obituary for Alice Okpara

Mrs. ALice Lolo OKwarakuoma (Daa Alice) was born on December 10, 1943 to the late Joseph and Beatrice Onwuachu - Okwaraozuruoha in Umuduruaka, Dimagu, Isiekenesi, Imo State, Nigeria

She was a very compassionate, benevolent, and caring person who was loved and appreciated by all that knew her. She believed in family and Religious service especially in the Church where she was an ordained Christian mother. She enjoyed singing and preaching the Words. She never failed to help or lend a hand to whomever in need even at her own discomfort . She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who would stop at nothing to protect her loved ones.

She was educated in Isiekenesi prior to relocating to Lagos, Nigeria to be with her newly married husband Mazi Silas Igbokwe Okwarakuoma in the late 1950s.

She owned and operated super markets in Lagos, where she brought passion, discipline, dedication, and work ethic that is second to none.

Alice was guarded and guided by the Angels of God to heavens home coming on August 27, 2016.
She was survived by her husband Silas. 1 Daughter, Patience, 5 Sons, Innocent, Friday, Uche, Adolph, and Antony. 17 Grand children and a host of relations and friends who loved and will miss her exceedingly.
