Henry Roy Alexander was born March 1, 1952 to the late Durrant and Wilhelmina Alexander in Grenada West Indies. Henry (Roy) attended St. Andrews Methodist school in Grenada West Indies. In 1977 Henry (Roy) joined the defense Force in Grenada, where he served several years.
In 1977, Henry (Roy) would decide to transition to the United States for a better way of living seeking employment, and to be closer to family and friends. Upon arriving was very successful at finding employment. He worked for New York Museum of Modern Art. Henry (Roy) was a jack of all trades. He loved to work with his hands.
Henry (Roy) met and married Sadie Ward. After a long illness, Henry (Roy) departed this life on May 30, 2017 at the Holliswood Nursing Home.
He leaves to mourn his wife Sadie Alexander. Two brothers Gadwin (Margaret) Godfrey (Brenda) 9 sisters Joyce, Yvonne, Laurel, Jennie (husband) Jennifer, Eula, Patricia, Mary (Curtis) Maria (Patrick) Yvette (deceased) and a host of nieces and nephews. One that he held especially close. Like a son Devon (nephew) some very close friends, the Hicks family, the Bedeau family from (Carria Couu) Adams family, Noel family Grenada. Also sister in law Sarah Martin, Rachel Blair of NY, Lillie Osborne of Florida and Parlie Lee Mooney, of G.A., brother in law Johnnie Stone Ft. Lauderdale, Jerry Ward, Ft. Lauderdale, Jessie Ward, Mose Roberson, Jr. of G.A.
Henry Roy was a member of Restoration Empowerment Ministry.
