He always made sure that we were walking on the right path and not taking a detour. Pastor Burns made an impact on everyone's life that he came in contact with. We've known Dr. Burns for over 30 plus years, he and our Father Bishop John McMillan were indeed friends down through the years. He and my Momma Burns too me as their god-daughter. I've sang in the choir at bayside cogic, I've worked in the church, ypww etc. He will be missed greatly. Family, God had a plan, His plan to us was stranged, but He makes no mistakes. We all will see him again. Look forward to that blessed hope!!!!

To my godsister Esther, as we said to you earlier, when Lazarus died, Jesus wept. It's normal to cry, so if you feel like crying, do that....you are human, and still in the flesh. Rev Burns, that's your father, and although you may not see him again on earth, you will reunite with him on that great getting up morning. I love you godsister.
