Obituary for Rev. Alvin S. Burch
Rev. Alvin S. Burch of Queens County, New York went to be with His Lord on July, 27, 2017. Alvin was an Army Veteran and will be buried at Calverton National Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a widower and is survived by his daughter Zhone M. Pollard and stepsons, Thomas Southwood, Eric Southwood and Michael Southwood.
Rev. Burch was active in his church: Christian Unity Baptist. His love for his church and his fellow parishioners was boundless and he never was tired of speaking about them and the Lord. His bond with Rev. Donald James was a friendship and brotherhood that will never cease even in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christian Unity Baptist Church.
