Meriel Watson of Brooklyn NY, was born in St. Louis Missouri to the union of Columbus Watson and Jean Jackson on September 14,1937. She was called home on August 8, 2017.

Meriel was a very classy lady, a strong woman with a mind of her own. She loved her finger-popping singing days and enjoyed having a good time. She was unique in every way, definitely one of a kind. I can truly say that she left her mark on this world and she will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Your at peace now Meriel. Until we meet again, we love you.

She leaves behind two sisters: Mrs. Audrey Moorishow, Mrs. Barbara Best, the late Ms.Beverly McKay. She also leaves behind Mrs. Lilly Story to whom she treasured like a sister. Daughters: Regina Holmes, Dawn Watson and the late Mrs. Denise Mattox and son- in-law Robert Mattox. Sons: Sherrod Watson and daughter-in-law Mrs. Garland Watson, Son Kasseem Watson and the late Cerron Watson. Granddaughter: Mrs. Shauntique Sykes and grandson-in-law Taurus Sykes, granddaughters Sherriah Watson and I-isha Foy. Grandson Isriel Watson and granddaughter-in-law Mrs. Akilah Watson, grandson La-keame Foy and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
