Rudolph Polite, 88 was called home on Sunday August, 6th in Jamaica, New York. Born October 18th 1928 to Richard Polite and Amie Sapp, Rudolph enjoyed his formative years in Augusta Georgia. At 18 years of age Rudolph decided to join the United States Army and served in Okinawa, Japan during World War 2. He received an honorary discharge and moved to North Carolina shortly after returning to the states. While in North Carolina, Rudolph met the woman he would go on to build a life with, his true love Beatrice. Wanting to build a better life for himself and for Beatrice, Rudolph made the decision to relocate to New York. Once there, he secured a job with Excello Accessories Corporation where he worked as a Mechanical Engineer until his retirement.



Rudolph was proud to have served his country. He was a fixture in local Veterans Day events and was an active member in the American Legion Post, Hempstead Chapter. He enjoyed life and community, fostering lasting relationships with neighbors and coworkers alike. Rudolph was a man of great integrity, his unparalleled work ethic paid off when he became a proud homeowner with his love Beatrice Polite. They settled in family oriented South Ozone Park, Queens in a blue house on the corner of 135th Place. There he and Beatrice would bring together the family they already had and continued to grow that family seven times over!



His love for family was paramount as he would often boast about the number of children and later grandchildren he had and their many accomplishments. As the patriarch of the Polite family, he instilled morals and values that remain with them today. He laid a foundation built with honor, passion and pride in oneself. Rudolph always had a clean, presentable and stylish appearance. If he attended a social event of any kind, you could be assured that he would be sharp from head toe!



He is preceded in death by wife Beatrice Polite, daughter Vera Mcfadden, son Otis McCree, son in law Louis M Burton, brothers Robert Jackson and Jimmy Miller and sister Pearl Roberts.



Rudolph leaves behind a legacy in the family he helped to create. He is survived by his children Victoria Williams, Rudolph Polite Jr, Brenda Brown and her husband Newkirk Brown, Carlton Polite, Karon Polite, Sharon Polite, Jerome Polite, Richard Polite and his wife Lisa Polite, Keith Polite, Machelle Polite and son in law William McFadden



Grandchildren, Stephanie Daniel and her husband Larry Daniel, Willie Lewis, Paula Lewis, Maggie Howell and her husband Matthew Howell, Zipporah Lewis, Samuel Williams, Bryant McFadden, Risha McFadden, Veronica McFadden, Carrie Anderson, Lisa Brown-Leggett, Adrienne Brown, Tracey Brown, Jahaun Atkins, Khayda Jean-Paul and her husband Yvens Jean-Paul, Jamel Butts, Shakira Polite, Andrew Burton, Stevland Polite, Terell Butts, Kareem Polite and his wife Rushawn Polite, Shayna Polite, Jordan Polite, Danielle Polite, Justin King, Cachet Burton, Ian Skinner, Chanel Burton and Jewel Polite.

And 26 great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.
