Obituary for Noreen Worthy

Noreen Worthy
Noreen Worthy was born on April 3, 1965 in Brooklyn NY, the oldest child of Charles and Edith Jones.
She was raised in Queens, NY, where she attended Andrew Jackson High School. She later married Robert e. Worthy Jr and during their union they had one child Robert E. Worthy 111 who was the light of her life and the joy of her heart.

Noreen was raised a child of God where she attended Community Baptist Church with her parents and siblings. She served on the youth and young adult choir where she loved to sing. Just like her mom,

Noreen had the voice of an angel, and was an amazing cook. You would always find her signing while she cooked. She loved life and loved to laugh and had a smile that would light up any room. She was had a charismatic and outspoken personality and was never afraid of being herself and giving her honest opinion. Family and friends were a joy and delight to her. If you were blessed enough to spread time with her, you would witness her kind and generous heart. but her most admirable quality was her strength within, which was that of a giant. Even during her weakest time, you could still see the fight in her and her will to live, but God knew best and called her home.

She leaves to morn: her only son Robert E. Worthy 111, one sister Darleen Brice, one brother Charles M. Jones Jr., a bother-in-law Steven A. Brice, two nieces Amber A. Brice and Charlene R. Jones, four aunts Phyllis Gardner, Sheron Jenkins, Verlondia Gardner-Patterson and Sheila Gardner one uncle Rasheem Jenkins. And a host of cousins, extended family and special friends. Noreen touched the lives of all who was blessed to know her. We love you.

My peace I give unto you let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid. John:14:27
