Obituary for George V. Webber

George was born in Jamaica, W.I. in the parish of Portland to parents Barvin and Imelda Webber.
He was the eighth of eleven children. He attended Black Rock Primary School, and although his formal education was not documented, George being self-taught proved himself a smart, articulate speaker.
Yvonne his first child was born in Jamaica, West Indies. George migrated to the United Kingdom in 1952, and while there, he was married to Sheila. This union produced two children Joyce and Clyde. George served in the British Army and was honorable discharged. While living in England George worked various jobs, but he fondly remembers working as a mineralogist at a British Factory.
He also loved cooking, especially hot hot hot jerk pork.
He also loved gardening during the summer entertaining friends and having a backyard celebration.
George then migrated once again, and moved to the United States Of America in 1972, where he fell in love and married Veronica White in 1975. This marriage produced Jason his son and Denise his daughter. George worked predominately in Manhattan at various parking garages.
George fell ill, and was hospitalized on November 29, 2017 and passed on December 21, 2017.
Left to mourn, his wife Veronica, his children Yvonne, Joyce, Clyde, Denis and Jason.
Several grandchildren and great grandchildren in Jamaica, the United Kingdom and the USA.
Brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews, family and friends.
Rest In Peace Georgie.
