Obituary for Diane Spears Jeaboin

Diane Spears Jeaboin was born on August 7, 1963 in Jamaica, New York to the late Charles L. Spears and Georgia Spears. As a child, she attended Bethany Baptist Church in Jamaica, NY. She was educated at P.S. 48, I.S. 8 and Andrew Jackson High School, all located in Queens, NY.
In her adult years, Diane devoted her time to working in the field of direct care. She worked tirelessly as a Direct Support Counselor for Life’s WORC, which provides supportive services for individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. She worked at the William Road Residence in Massapequa, NY where she assisted a group of 10 residents with daily living skills and activities. Diane was well known and well-liked by her clients and co-workers.
Many knew Diane as a “fashionista” who enjoyed shopping and “dressing to the nines.” She loved spending time with her family and enjoying life. She spent her final days at the Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation in Manhasset, NY, surrounded by family and friends who all loved and cherished her very much. Diane entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 7, 2018.
Diane was preceded in death by her brother Charles L. Spears, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Valmor Jeaboin; two children, Tyreek Spears and Valmor Jeaboin, Jr.; six stepchildren, Jolene Jeaboin Descombes (Darland), Viannie Jeaboin, Barbara Jeaboin, Ricardo Jeaboin, Stherda Jeaboin and Valery Jeaboin; one grandchild, Rylee Spears; two brothers, Leon Spears and Eric Spears; three sisters, Denise Harden, Charlene Spears and Darline Spears and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
