Condolence: To the NIX FAMILY, What an inspiration #homegoing celebration for brother Joseph Nix. Standing room only attendance to honor him. We were floored by all the heartfelt accolades. And while no one knows their time but GOD, it was comforting to know that he traveled side by side with another one of GOD'S angels, music icon, Aretha Franklin.

Condolence: I got to know Joe from working with him. A good brother gone to soon. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the entire Nix family.

Condolence: In memory of a beautiful and effervescent Brother. Joe was a kind soul who loved a good laugh. I remember coming up as a young adult, hanging with Joe (Born, as we called him at the time), and the crew, in South Jamaica, Brooklyn or Harlem, or hitting the black colleges in Atlanta, or just rapping about life in general. In recent years physical distance made it harder to connect but we still kept in touch. I offer my sincerest condolences to the Nix family. Even as you are missed, your spirit lives forever. Condolence: To my family. My heart is heavy but I know God makes no mistakes. Joey was a awesome person, awesome son, brother, and dad and had a beautiful spirit and soul. I will miss him dearly but strive to see him again on the other side. I know God will give us that peace and strength as we go through.
