Mr. George Williams, son of the late Eliza Waring was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 12, 1938. His three brothers Earl, Ernest and Harold Williams all preceded his death. George lived in NY at a young age with his mother figure and father figure Lena & Floydzell Crittenden and was educated in the NY public school system. He was a member of the Glee club at First Church of God in Christ of Brooklyn at an early age. George married, Mary McCall on November 14, 1959 whom preceded him in death. He joined the US Army in April 1963. After serving six years he received an honorable discharge in March 1969. He worked as a truck driver until 1992 when he retired.

Everyone who knew George loved him. He always knew what to say to put a smile on their face and make them laugh. His joyous sense of humor was a shining light that would brighten your day. George always extended a helping hand to anyone who required his assistance.

He transitioned from this life on January 8, 2018 at Queens Hospital Center following a brief illness.

George Williams leaves to cherish his memory: four loving daughters, Carla, Cheryl, Alicia (Lisa) and Ava (Faye). Daughter Monica, whom preceded his death. Fourteen grand-children, Twenty-seven great grand-children. Two devoted cousin/niece Donna Chatman and Sheila Taylor and a host of relatives and friends.
