Obituary for Glenn Parrott

Glenn Parrott, son of the late Earl and Louise Parrott, was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 16, 1950. During his early adulthood, Glenn taught karate classes at Full Gospel Mission church in Jamaica, Queens where he gained the name affectionately known to family and friends as Sensei.
Glenn Parrott received his education at John Adams High School in Ozone Park, Queens. He was a skilled carpenter, landscaper and electrician who didn’t mind lending a helping hand to family and friends. Glenn was known to be the life of any party and loved to dance, play cards & quench his thirst for life. He loved New York sports teams, especially his beloved Knicks. He often joked that the Knicks could win a championship if they would give him a jersey and let him play.
Glenn Parrott entered eternal life on Sunday December 23, 2018. His spirit is carried on by his sister, Monique Smith; two brothers, Earl Parrott Jr. and Alan Parrott; brother-in-law, Melvin Smith; two sister-in-laws, Gayle Parrott & Carrie Parrott; two sons, Glenn Jr. (Taforrest) and Gabriel; fours daughters, Michelle, Gabriella, Tamika and Lakenia; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four nieces; four nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who lives he touched.
