Obituary for Victor N. Strong

Victor N. Strong was born in Jamaica, Queens to Isaac Strong and Menshia Morgan on November 11, 1957. Victor received education through the Queens school system.
Victor enlisted with the United States Marine Corps in 1975 where he served for 4 years. In the year 1979 he was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California. Within the time of his service he became a Bulk Fuel specialist, received the rifle marksmanship badge and earned the rank Lance Corporal.
Upon honorable discharge from the military, Victor worked in commercial transport for several years before joining the JFK Postal Office where he remained as a cook in the cafeteria for nearly two decades. Subsequently, he joined Maximum Security where he also remained over decade. Victor’s dedication to his loved ones and tenacity for life defined his character.
Victor is survived by three sons: Christopher Lloyde, Anthony Lloyde, and Damion Strong. His partner in life Deidra Ruiz Cole. Three Grandchildren: Chloe Lloyde, Christina Ryann Lloyde, and Anthony Lloyde. His aunts Eunice Strong Turner and Agazine Strong Jones. His uncle Robert Strong Sr. as well as many cousins and other family members, co-workers and friends.
