Florida B Smith aka Muller was born March 5th 1926 in Yazoo, Mississippi to the late Jack and Lucille Jackson. After living out her adolescent years in the south, she met and married Percy Smith and migrated north to New York with her daughter and son Mary Lou and Willie Jim Smith. In New York, Muller was a successful entreprenuer with her own family cleaning business until her retirement.

She was a devoted member of Carter Community A.M.E. Church in Jamaica, NY where she served as a pastor’s aide. Muller loved to cook and barbeque in her back yard. She was well known for her famous caramel cake from scratch.

On March 14th, 2019 mid afternoon, Muller went on to transcend into eternal rest with The Father, to join her parents Jack and Lucille. Muller was preceded in death by her son Willie Jim and siblings Percy, Annie and Richard.

Muller is survived by her sister Lucille and brother John, children Mary Lou(Teddy), Rose(Willie Jim-deceased), grandchildren, Terriffial-Deceased(1), Isha (9), Deneen(3), Kim (3) Jr(4), Tracey(4), Willie(4), Larry(4), 32 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
