Obituary for Patricia A Henry

Patricia A. McCarter was born at Metropolitan Hospital in New York, New York on July 30, 1956 to John and Essie McIntosh. She lived in St. Nick Houses until the family relocated to Hollis, Queens New York in 1960. The family later relocated to Jamaica Queens, New York. Patricia attended St. Clement Pope Catholic School for elementary and middle school. Patricia obtained her High School diploma from Richmond Hill High School. Patricia attended LaGuardia Community College in Queens, New York

Patricia who was affectionately known as Tishy loved music. Some of Tishy's favorite artists were Tina Turner, Jerry Butler, Atlantic Star and many more.

Tishy was an active child. She was very athletic and generally the fastest girl runner in the family. Tishy was often known for her sense of humor and unique laughter. Tishy also enjoyed participating in school activities such as school plays. Tishy enjoyed spending time with her cousins Lance, Danny, and sister Sharon. Tishy's hobbies included watching her beloved New York Mets, shooting pool, and going to the casinos.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jeffrey McCarter, brothers, James, Kenneth, John and sister Claudette, niece Jenaea, Jacqueline, nephews, James, Anthony, Nathaniel and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents John and Essie McIntosh, sister Sharon McIntosh, and her beloved cousin Lance Rivers.
