Jonni Mae Hodges was born January 11, 1958 in Wallace NC. Mae was the 4th of 13 children born to Joseph and Geraldine Hodges. Mae just completed 25 years of service on the job. As a member of Local 157, Mae worked as a Shop Stewart and gave support to all that needed it. Mae took pride in all that she done over the years and worked hard to motivate and give back to her nieces and nephew.

Mae always had a spirit of innate goodness and was a selfless person. However, if you crossed her …. Mae played many roles within our family. She was a supporter, Santa Claus, Aunt, cheerleader, comedian, rescuer, sister, and friend. Those roles will be hard to fill and she will truly, be missed.

Mae was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Hodges, and brother, Norvell Hodges. She leaves to cherish her memories a mother, Geraldine Hodges, 6 brothers, Joseph Hodges (Maxine), Cornelius Hodges, Thomas Darnel Hodges (Arnell), William Hodges (Tracy), Jerome Hodges and Jonathan Hodges. 6 sisters Belinda Steel (Zack), Hattie Lobrutto (Cliff), Andrea Hodges, Gloria Hodges, Wanda Hodges, and Tanya Westbrook (Jemal) and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
