With deep sorrow because of our loss, but with a deeper love and rejoicing because we know our dear brother is with the Lord, the Williams-Harrigan family send our condolences. We remember Cousin George as a loving, dedicated family man who always brightened up the room with his smile when he entered. (He had lots of funny jokes and stories, too.) May he rest in peace with that great cloud of witnesses who are there waiting for him. Sarah Williams Harrigan.

My grandfather to me was a amazing teacher and showed to myself and others around him the love and patience of Christ. I will miss him and his smile very much, but will continue to remember soon we will all be together again.
(KJV) Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
And Heaven has now gained my loving and caring Boompa. And Boompa has now gained peace, rest and to be in the presence of our Great King who is Christ our Lord. I love you Boompa and the rest of my Halloway family.

George and I grew up together in the same neighborhood; he lived around the corner from us. He was a little older than me so we didn’t really hang out together. George was into body building with his buddy Steve. Then a lady name Mrs. Weeks started a little club for us kids called “The Traveling Co-Ed’s, to keep us from getting into trouble. We would going on outings around the city, and that’s when George became interested in my sister Lorraine. I didn’t care that much about George, because all of her other boy-friends would give me comic books, he wouldn’t. Nevertheless he became my brother-in-law and friend. Make no mistake about it, we had our share of ups and downs but in spite of it all we always had love for each other. When I was at some of the lowest points in my life, he was there for me, even to the point of living in his home. When I went into the Air Force his home was where I came back too. I was as much a part of his family as any one of his children. George was always a gentle man that truly cared about others. To me he was the epitome of what a real man should be. I love George and he will forever be a part of my life.
