Obituary for Malik Nashawn Beckles-Williams

Malik Nashawn Beckles Williams was born on January 15,1999 at 10:14am in Queens Hospital. Malik was born and raised in Queens NY for the earlier years of his life. Malik went on to receive his High School Diploma from Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design where his dream was to become an architect.

Malik’s teenage years were spent with his parents and siblings in the borough of Brooklyn, where, later as a young adult he proudly obtained employment with Fedex. Those nearest and dearest to him know that Malik also had a love and passion for music. Malik’s poetic gifts lead him to pursue what would have been a flourishing music career.

It is through our tears that we must all realize that Malik is now in the safe and comforting arms of the lord, happily entertaining and charming those in heaven as he did with everyone during his time with us. It truly hurts to lose such a young handsome, talented, smart, outgoing, loving and caring person. Malik’s beautiful smile would brighten up any room he entered. It was that Billion-dollar smile on a face so innocent that we will hold dear to our hearts forever.

It is with great sadness, that on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at 4:03pm Malik aka B-Leeky Billions, was called home to his final resting place. Malik leaves behind to cherish his beautiful memories, his adoring Mother Monique, his loyal Father Kareem, his lovely Sister Kayla and adorable Brother Makai. Malik also leaves behind his loving Grandmother Wanda, and countless Aunts, Uncles and cousins beginning with Sharnette, Takeisha, Tawana, Geraldine and Lechystal; Uncle John,Mark and Jamel; Godmother Yolanda; cousin(s) Kenneth, Zekeya, Tyree, Tawuan, Caleb, Mariah, Donell, Adrianna, Tyreem, Kyreem, Tykeem, Tayana, Heaven, Talila, Serenity, Ladonna, Mark Jr, Taniya, and Isis; as well as a host of family and friends.
