Obituary for Dolores Evon Stephens
On April 29th 2021 God dispatched an angel from heaven to bring Dolores Stephens to her Heavenly Home for an everlasting rest
Dolores E. Stephens was the first child born to John and Sally Pearson on April 6th,1953 in Manhattan NY.
Dolores attended the New York City Public School System and graduated from Far Rockaway High School. As a child Dolores loved to play Softball and continued to play in her adulthood. Dolores worked for the New York City transit Authority for over 15 years prior to her illness.
During the year of 1967 Dolores gave birth to her first daughter Leslie. In 1971 Dolores married the love of her life, Cedric F. Stephens. This union blessed her with her loving children Wendi, and Cedric. Her parents John and Sally, Husband Cedric and Daughter Wendi preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her oldest daughter Leslie Pearson-Curry (Derrald of Queens NY), one son Cedric F. Stephens Jr. Six grandchildren, Ryan Pearson, Venecia Steele, Elijah Gibbons, Destiny Curry, Wisdom Stephens, and Reminique Patnett. Three great grandchildren, Kimora Pearson, Kyra Fields, and Marleigh Askins. Three Sisters, Patsey Houston , Brenda Pearson, and Diane Pearson. Three brothers, Leo Pearson, Dennis Pearson ( Michelle of New Brunswick NJ), and David Pearson. Three godchildren, Danyell Greene, Kadeem Peppers and Kaseem Peppers. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves to cherish her best friend Barbara Peppers. We know your friend was a lot to deal with but you hung in there with her until the very end and we thank you for that!
