Obituary for Cardell Ronald "Ronnie" Hall

Cardell Ronald Hall was born in Jamaica, New York to the proud parents of Robert Obe Hall Sr. and Dorothy Lee Hall on November 4, 1954, in the year of our Lord. This beautiful baby boy was the third born out of four.

Cardell found his calling in theatre and dancing. He made his New York theatrical debut in the Off-Broadway production of “Joe’s Opera”. He continued his pursuit of the arts in California where he performed in “Purlie” at the Aquaris Theatre. While continuing his calling in Broadway where he received acclaim as the lead dancer in “Your Arms Too Short to Box with God” and continued to fulfill his dreams while working with the Radio City Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Cardell gave his life to the arts, whether it was dancing on stage, touring throughout New York City, appearing in “The Wiz” movie, and releasing and instructing his own exercise videos. Cardell also skillfully became quite a Master Chef of many different food cuisines. Cardell had a limitless number of talents.

Cardell departed this life on February 19, 2022, due to a lingering illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Obe Hall, Sr., his mother Dorothy Lee Hall and his older sister, Deborah Hall.

Cardell leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his two siblings: Robert Obe Hall Jr. and Denise Hall, his three nephews, Bruce Brandon Cartwright, Robert O. Hall III, and Reed Hall, his two nieces, Victoria C. Hall-Swartz, Amanda Hall, and grand niece Alexandria B. Cartwright and a host of other relatives and countless friends.
