Obituary for Christopher Jermaine Rivers
Christopher Jermaine Rivers (aka "Chris") was born to Deacon. Jesse Rivers and the late Mrs. Gloria Rivers on April 23, 1986. Chris was always full of life and kept a lighthearted presence. Growing up, he attended Bethel Christian Academy and Francis Lewis High School. He later took courses at Queens College and Nassau Community College, in hopes of one day becoming an X-Ray Tech.
Chris worked at North Shore University Hospital (Northwell Health) for a few years. He later moved on to become a Porter at the Jewish Board in Brooklyn, NY where he worked for several years. He was an avid music lover and a talented musician. He loved to play the keyboard and the drums ever since he was a child. Chris also loved entertaining his family and friends, often cooking for his family during the holidays.
Chris was a close friend to many. He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Rivers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father, Deacon. Jesse Rivers, brother Michael Rivers (Lissa), nephew Aiden, niece Lauren, and an abundance of loving family and friends.
