Obituary for Eupertee "Tee" Wilkins

Eupertee Wilkins affectionately known as “Tee” was born 10/21/31 and went peacefully to be with The Heavenly Father on 11/21/22. She met her late husband, Lloyd Edward Wilkins in New York, and together they had six children: Clarinda Wilkins, Lisa Wilkins, William Wilkins, Allen Wilkins, the late Lloyd Ervin Wilkins and Sherylon Wilkins. Eupertee was the third child born to Clara Stokes and Dorsey Alston, along with Rethella Mcgilvery –Alston, Lee Edward Alston, and Artist Alston and his twin brother Otis who died shortly after birth; all having preceeded her in going home to be with The Heavenly Father. She lost her father, Dorsey Alston to a car accident, at the age of 4 years old and was raised by her mother, Clara Avent and Mr. Henry Avent. She is survived by two Sisters: Daisy Avent-Thomas and Delphenia Avent. She had eleven nieces and nephews, nine surviving: Cynthia Alston, Edith Alston, Ossie (Sonny) Alston (deceased), Michael Alston, Sr. and Linda Alston, Clarence Alston, (Deceased), Herman Mcgilvery, Keith Mcgilvery, Wayne Mcgilvery, and Angela Mcgilvery. Darryl Thomas and Vonda Thomas-Bell. Diane and Samuel Brownridge. She had nine grand-children, Eight surviving : Otto Wesley Grant (deceased), his parents Otto Grant and Clarinda Wilkins-Grant , Quincy S. Wilkins-Davis, Chelsea J. Wilkins–Walker, their parents: Lisa Wilkins and Melvin Walker, Brandon Wilkins, Jared Wilkins and Lauren M. Wilkins, their parents: William and Arlena Wilkins, Austin Wilkins and Matthew Wilkins, their parents: Lloyd Ervin Wilkins and Theresa Calderon, and Moriah Wilkins, her parents, Lloyd Ervin Wilkins and Debra Densen. Seven Great Grandchildren: Jaymie Lynn, her mother, Veronica Guerrero, Olivia and Oliver, their mother: Nicole Cohen, Xavier, his mother Luisa Rodriguez, Noah, his mother: Sharon Prunty, Zachary, his mother: Katrina Andrews and Alijah, his mother: Sadie Cruz. Two surviving brother and sister in laws: Henry Brownridge, Cecil Brownridge and his wife Arlene Brownridge, and Sister-in-law Marie Brownridge. A great in law Aunt Sadie Carter. And two brother in laws Samuel Brownridge and his wife Patricia Brownridge and Bernard Brownridge who preceded her into Glory. She is survived by a host of nieces nephews, cousins, friends and family whom she loved dearly. She graduated from Nash County High School in North Carolina, graduated from Cosmetology School in Virginia, was a trained Medical/dental Assistant and retired from the City Of New York as an Eligibility Specialist. The Heavenly Father had “Truly blessed her”. She accepted JESUS CHRIST as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Diligently visited those in the hospital, and who were sick, even when they were in other states. We will miss her love of life, beautiful smile and optimism. We will always love you, Mom and will carry your memory in our hearts forever. Her famous parting words were “Take good Care of yourself”
