Obituary for Edna Alvonia Randall

Edna Randall was born to Ann Odum and the late Joseph Randall in Macon, Georgia on April 14, 1944. She spent her early years there along with her younger brother until the family moved to New York City.

Edna attended Our Lady of Victory in Brooklyn and graduated from Girl’s High. She majored in mathematics at Long Island University. She found employment as a dietician at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.

She was the mother of Augustus and Jacob, both of whom transitioned before her. She then found solace in helping others.

Edna lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures; painting, writing, singing and volunteering her time to worthy causes. She was very creative and artistic. She also had an uncanny ability to reach others in a very positive way.

She transitioned on November 22, 2022 and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
