Obituary for James Edward Gibbs, Jr.
James Edward Gibbs Jr., was born in Washington, North Carolina, on April 4, 1952 to James Edward and Julia Mae Gibbs.
He came to New York City at a young age, where he attended public school through high school in Queens, New York. He graduated from Springfield Gardens High School.
He worked as a construction worker until he became disabled from a car accident. He was married to Myrtle Parks but later was divorced. They had four daughters. Shameka Vashawn (deceased) Shanek Tuni, Natasha, Shawana and Jamese. He was a kind hearted person. He loved everyone, and was very truth worthy.
He loved music, dancing, bowling, and fishing and most of all his car.
James is survived by his brother Jimmy Gibbs-Robert Everett Queens N.Y. and sister B. Carolyn Gibbs-Scott 2 brother in laws William H. Scott, and Quannah Brown. Sister in laws Runnell / Tina.
Queens, N.Y. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and relatives.
