Obituary for Jasiah T Campbell

Jasiah T Campbell
Jasiah T. Campbell was born on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York, to Charisma D. Allen. Jasiah, known as Stuartie, later known as Siah, was so eager to enter this world that he came only one hour after Charisma got to the hospital.
Jasiah attended PS 140 in Queens and was in the 2nd grade; he was a very inquisitive child who loved to learn new things and enjoyed playing video games and playing with his brothers, sister and cousins. He was loved greatly by his family and spent many summers with his Aunt Shirley in Poughkeepsie, NY, or in Brooklyn, NY, with his Aunt Myra or with his cousin Lori in Harlem, all of which bought him great joy. Charisma and Tyrell (Lance), Charisma's fiancé, helped, taught, loved and nurtured Siah. Jasiah was a little charmer. Anyone who crossed his path loved and adored him. He was helpful to all whom he met whether they were his teachers, his mom, his Meme, his classmates, his brothers or his Aunt Jovan. His favorite thing to ask anyone was, “Are you okay?”
Jasiah was very protective of his little brothers and his big brother as well. Despite his small stature, he was a fighter, and there was never a need for him to protect his sister, Janiya because she is the little mother. Jasiah was also very competitive and kind of a sore loser, but he made sure that he was always a part of the game, and he strived for perfection. Jasiah was a chronic asthmatic and was often out of school and unable to play as hard as the other children, so he was a “cuddler” who loved to hug everyone, and never complained; he enjoyed life to the fullest and was everyone's little celebrity.
On March 20th, Jasiah fell ill for the last time with asthma and was in LIJ, Cohen's Children's Medical Center for 10 days. During those 10 days, he made such an impact; God's spirit was truly with Jasiah; his last assignment was becoming an organ donor. His death was pronounced on March 24th, but his heart never stopped beating; it was donated on March 29th and Jasiah took his place with the Lord.
Jasiah leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy his mom Charisma Allen, dad Tyrell (Lance) Newkirk, four siblings, Janiya Campbell, Jabaree Campbell, Therel Newkirk and Chance Newkirk, his
