Jeanie Raycina Hamrick Foxworth was born May 6, 1934 to the late Charles and Audrey Hamrick of Shelby N.C. Jeanie received her education in Shelby N.C., while in secondary school she was on the basketball team one of the best, the choir and the band before finishing high school at Cleveland High School.

Jeanie was a member of Waddell Chapel Church of Shelby N.C. she worked as the secretary for the church. After leaving N.C. Jeanie came to New York in 1952 where she worked odd jobs in the health field Sloan Kettering, Willowbrook State School and the Brooklyn Veterans Hospital. Jeanie giving her last until 2008 at Associate for the Help of Retarded Children (AHRC) Helping the mentally challenged.

Jeanie completed her college studies in 1987. Throughout Jeanie's journey she joined the Eastern Star and became a member of Deborah Chapter #3 in 1973.,working her way through this maze she got the Queen of the South in 1974,the Amaranth in 1976 , she later joined the Heriones of Jericho in 1984 then the Daughters of the Sphinx 1993,Sis. Foxworth better known to her sisters.

Jeanie was our Royal Matron 2000- 2006 Most Ancient Matron 2004- 2016 and our Grand Matron from 2000- 2005, she was honored at our 2008 convention with her past honors as Past Supreme Grand Matron. Jeanie leaves to cherish her memories her two daughters Karen and Katrina Hamrick of N.Y.one sister Dorothy Elmore of Lawndale N.C nieces and nephews Venita, Cara, Jane Belinda Patricia , Daryl all of N.C. Vivian and Joan of N.J. Avaughn of N.C. Constance, Hilda, Linda, Denise, Janice, Gary and Dedria of N.J..
