As president of the New York Antillean Association (previously known as the New York Antillean Vets), I would to say to Ethel, the rest of the family and friends that on behalf of all our members we join you in celebrating the life of Sandino Vanterpool, your beloved husband and our dearest friend. We would like to cherish the moments we spent with him enjoying his culinary skills, intensely playing the game in our softball league, surveying the cards on the domino table with keen observation skill, the smell of victory and honing in for the victory and his boisterous phrase “Domino” and enjoying the love of every phase and aspect of his music or relishing in his comedic exploits. Already, we miss him dearly. May God be with you and strengthen in celebrating his life, while accepting your loss and please do not hesitate to call on us if ever you feel the need.
