The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gloria Ferron can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Lyndon Ferron (Brother)

Good day everyone, my name is Lyndon Ferron, the third brother to Gloria Ferron-Cross.

Gloria was more than a sister to me, when I was nineteen year of age I went to live with her, were I spent five of my best years. Everyone thought Gloria was my mother because she did not treat me any different from her only child who she loves more than life itself.

Gloria was one of those unique people with a special gift of kindness; nothing is too good for her to give away. If I have a problem I would have to hide it from her because she would worry about it more than me.

Gloria is a person who loves to laugh and love to be surrounded by laughter. Every time we speak I had to have some form of joke to tell her, so she always calls me a comic.

Gloria was a peace loving person; if you are about to do something stupid or get yourself into any form of trouble and she finds out about it, she is the first person to approach you with her sayings e.g. (leave it to time, time will tell and you’ll never know). These are the sayings that keep me in check throughout my years

I remember when I first introduce my wife to her (girl friend at the time) I was still living at her home, my girl friend was so comfortable that when it was time for her to go home it so late even the busses quit running, so I decided to put her on a taxi. When Gloria saw us leaving the house and enquire where were we going so late?  I told her to get a cab, her respond was “let her stay until tomorrow” I was shock even to this day.

I thank Maxine Nicolson for her wonderful love, support and friendship that she gave to my sister.

You are more than a cousin; you’re like her twin sister. May god’s richest blessing continue to be up on you for life?

I thank Desmond Nicolson for open his humble home to her all these years. This act of kindness shall continue to be a blessing upon your life.

I thank each and everyone for your support. Gloria Ferron- cross would be happy to know that so many people love and care for her, she would be sadly missed.
